Your calculator inputs

Calculations run in your browser. Some pages remember form entries and currency choices on your device, so you can pick up where you left off. This stored information is available to anyone using the same browser profile. Clear this site's data in your browser settings if you want to remove it, especially on a shared computer.

If you open or share a calculator link containing values, those values are part of the page address. That address can appear in hosting logs and analytics. Avoid putting names, account details or other private information into links or calculator fields.

When you contact me

The contact form sends your name, message and any email address you provide through Web3Forms. Email is optional and is only needed if you want a reply. Messages are used to answer questions, investigate corrections and consider suggestions for the site.

Web3Forms processes submissions and delivers them by email. Its privacy policy explains its storage, spam checks and service providers. Please leave out bank details, passwords, identity documents and other sensitive information. You can also email hello@expatmoneymatters.com directly.

Website analytics

Google Analytics runs only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Until then it is not loaded and sets no cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and you can change it at any time with , which is also in the footer of every page.

If you accept, the site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools people use. It uses cookies and collects information such as page addresses, referring sites, browser and device details, approximate location and interactions. Google's servers receive your IP address to derive location; Google Analytics does not log or store it. See Google's explanation of Analytics data and Google's privacy policy.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits and page performance without analytics cookies. Its data collection documentation explains the browser information and performance measurements it receives.

Hosting and other services

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. It processes requests, including IP addresses and technical information, to deliver pages and help prevent abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Your browser also contacts Google Fonts for typefaces, FlagCDN for currency flags, jsDelivr for some scripts and ExchangeRate-API for exchange rates. These services receive the network information needed to respond to those requests. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy policies.

Your choices and questions

You can accept or reject Google Analytics with Cookie settings, clear cookies and saved site data through your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Rejecting or blocking analytics does not stop the calculators working.
